General
What exactly is Martium?

Martium is a memory layer for engineering teams. It runs in the background, capturing your commits, tickets, docs, debugging sessions, and meetings, and lets you (or your teammates) ask questions about that history at any point instead of everyone re-explaining context from scratch every time.

Is this a coding assistant, like Copilot?

No. Martium isn't trying to write your code for you. Its inline assistant works more like Grammarly , surfacing relevant context, prior decisions, or a next step as you type, grounded by what actually happened on your team, not general code generation.

Do I need my whole team to use it, or can I try it solo?

You can use Martium entirely solo — the Individual tier is built for exactly that, capturing only your own activity. Company knowledge (Phobos) requires your team's tools to be connected, which is a Team-tier feature.

What platforms does it run on?

Martium is being built and tested on Windows first. macOS and Linux support are planned as we come out of early access — if platform support is a blocker for your team, mention it when you join the waitlist.

Privacy & security
Does Martium take screenshots of everything I do?

No. Martium reads text directly from applications using OS-level accessibility APIs wherever possible — that's faster, cheaper, and doesn't require looking at pixels at all. Screenshots are a fallback used only for genuinely opaque content like images or video, and the raw image is discarded once the useful text is extracted. See our full privacy & security page.

Is personal information scrubbed before it's stored?

Yes. Every piece of captured activity passes through a PII-scrubbing step before it's written to storage — this is a non-negotiable step in the pipeline, not an opt-in setting.

Can I control what Martium is allowed to see?

Yes — you can exclude specific applications entirely, pause capture at any time, and delete captured data for any time range. Full detail is on the privacy & security page.

Where does my data actually live?

Your personal activity (Deimos) is local-first and lives on your own machine by default. Company knowledge (Phobos) is shared deliberately through your team's connected tools, not captured automatically from your device.

Pricing & plans
Is Martium free?

Individual use is free during early access. Team plans, which add shared company knowledge, meeting notes, and a human review queue, are priced per seat. Full detail is on the pricing page.

Will pricing change after early access?

Likely, yes — current pricing is a working estimate, not final. Anyone who joins during early access will be told directly before anything changes for their account.

Do you support self-hosting or on-prem deployment?

Custom and self-hosted deployment is available on the Enterprise tier. Reach out at martium@phantomorbitlabs.in to talk through requirements.

Technical
Which tools does Martium connect to?

GitHub, Jira, Slack, and Confluence are supported today. Custom connectors for internal tools are available on Enterprise.

How current is company knowledge — is it real-time?

Company knowledge is kept fresh by a background process that checks connected tools regularly, so it stays current without you having to trigger a manual sync. Real-time webhook-based updates are on our roadmap for tools that support them.

Does Martium work offline?

Personal activity capture is local-first and continues to work offline. Answering questions and syncing company knowledge require connectivity.

What happens to data if I uninstall Martium?

Your local Deimos data lives on your machine and is removed with the application. You can also request deletion of any account-linked data by contacting us directly.
